Was a little worried after buying these with the reviews on wet traction and ice. I use my pickup for snowmobiling quite frequently, so I had the tires sipped. With them sipped I have been plesently surprised at the grip they've offered both in snow, ice, and rain. I have about 3000 miles so far, seem to be wearing well. They do vibrate a little just like a lot of Mud terrains but, I'm pretty happy with these tires so far. Would recommned them, especially sipped for road and/or wet icy areas.

Best Tire I've ever used
I have the 35x12.5R17's on my '12 Ram 2500 Diesel and love them! On a scale of 1 to 5 these tires are a 6 easy. I commute 50 miles a day for work and these tires do great in the city and highway. They are quiet and theres absolutely 0 death wobble. I do alot of off roading and these babies performed flawlessly every time. On occasion I get myself into a situation when I'm buried in thick muck up to my doors on and when you hit the gas these things DIG! Without a doubt these will be the last brand of tires I'll ever by again. Worth every dollar spent, I'd put my # up here to personally tell anyone who is contemplating these tires to buy them but cant... So you'll just have to take my word for it. You wont be dissapionted.

lots of tire envy for General Grabber
I use General Grabber 33-12.5-17 for my 2008 Wrangler unlimited. THESE TIRES RIP IT UP off road. I will never buy anything else. So far I used them for Baja type racing, fast moving through loose dirt and rocks- Lots of hard landings. A great Baja tire. There also great in heavy mud. Steep climbing and sticky mud pits are no problem. There is some tire noise on the freeway with top down but it's not bad at all. They are darn quiet compared to other off road tires.
The catalog and on line pictures do not do them justice. You have to see them in person. I have noticed allot of fellow off roaders taking a good long look at them. There was one guy who must have had 15K into his jeep almost brock his neck rubber necking these tires.

Tough tire but rough ride
The red letters are different, tough looking tire and grips very well in mud or sand.As far as daily commuter its a rough ride and the tires are heavy, my mileage dropped about 3 mpg.But overall, a long lasting, almost indesructable tire.I will not buy another set.

I have been really impressed and happy with the General Grabber tire so far. I have had them for about 10k miles and have had them rotated every 3k miles. I did not notice any irregular wear however they do hum a little going down the road. I would really consider getting these tires again when they come out with the 37X12.5-20.

Great bang for your buck
Use these tires on my off road/work truck. Really go down the road well and helped eliminate trailer sway when pulling. Good set of tires for the extra few bucks. Great tread wear life so far.

I have a 2013 Power Wagon. I was told be the dealer today that these tires would not fit on my stock 17x8 rims. According to them, the tires will bulge out. they said that I would have to get 17x9's or better. Are they right?
Robert from on
Yes, you will need to upgrade to a 17 x 8 or 17 x 9 wheel with a 4" to 5" backspace. Then they will fit your vehicle. Thank you
